Our Divisions
Building & Industrial Division
The Building & Industrial Division is the foundation of Agostini Solutions Plus, representing a legacy that spans over 60 years. Many of the products we introduced decades ago continue to be market leaders, generating the financial strength needed to support the introduction of new, innovative solutions.
Our product line up includes USG gypsum products, Armstrong acoustical ceilings, Plycem Fibre Cement Boards, and NewTech composite decking and siding, among other high-quality materials. Our NewTech composite decking—introduced over five years ago—has rapidly gained traction as the preferred alternative to traditional wood, offering the same warmth and aesthetic without the maintenance challenges. Today, NewTech is the market leader in the wood composite category in Trinidad.
Lighting & Power Division
Since acquiring LightSource in 2019, the Lighting & Power Division has evolved into an industry leader in commercial, industrial, and project lighting solutions. Whether it’s interior or exterior lighting, warehouse and industrial lighting, or roadway and stadium lighting, our solutions are designed to support architects, designers, and engineers in realizing their projects.
This division operates in an exciting and rapidly changing market, particularly with the accelerated adoption of renewable energy solutions. As energy costs in Trinidad and Tobago are expected to rise in the coming years, our team is actively working with commercial clients to provide energy-efficient alternatives, including lighting audits and LED retrofitting projects that significantly reduce electricity consumption.
The division is also expanding into Photovoltaics (Solar Power), an increasingly vital segment in the energy sector. As power storage solutions become more advanced, we continue to explore new opportunities to help businesses transition to cleaner, more sustainable energy alternatives.
Imaging and Agri Division
The Imaging & Agri Division serves two key markets: signage & graphics and agricultural solutions.
Our signage and banner materials are widely used in point-of-purchase displays and billboards. While this is a mature product category, our team has revolutionized the supply chain, working directly with manufacturers in the Far East to reengineer materials that meet performance expectations at competitive prices.
In the agriculture sector, our focus is on helping farmers and livestock owners overcome industry challenges with sustainable solutions. A key initiative has been our farmer centred approach which enables us to provide cost-effective, high-quality products that meets the demands of our growers. Utilizing this approach, we are enabling farmers to maximize their returns on investment.
